She can be reached quick in 3 hours from middle europe by plane via the international airport in Faro. The arrival is also possible via the capital town Lisboa. Along the southcoast are small fishing villages, which still keeps their original charm against the tourism.
LAGOS
The small habour town Lagos is an old navigator destination, wherefrom the great discoverer travels round the world. The historic town provides southern and mediterranean atmosphere. The pedestrian area inspires with small shops, narrow alleys, restaurants and bars characteristic for the country.
MEIA PRAIA
A 7 km long fine sandy beach and the dune landscape close behind ensure relaxed beach - and sailingholiday all year round. Modern beachrestaurants invites to stay and sunbathing on the terrace. Therefrom you have a copious view over the sailingarea - the bay of Lagos. The Meia Praia beach was awarded with the Bandeira Azul Ecológico since many years for good waterquality and beach facilities.
The sailingarea is located in front of a scenery of rock formations, which still have postcards character.
